Professional Development - Psychosocial Safety in the Aquatic Industry
This online module introduces aquatic facility staff to the fundamentals of identifying, managing and reducing psychosocial hazards in the workplace. It is fully contextualised to aquatic environments and provides practical guidance on risk management, legal duties and effective response strategies, supported by realistic scenarios and interactive activities.
Learners gain an understanding of common hazards, their impacts, and the responsibilities of workers and managers in promoting wellbeing, resilience and safer working environments.
The module forms part of Royal Life Saving’s professional development suite for the aquatic industry and can be completed at your own pace. A certificate of completion is issued on successful finish.

Units of Competency: This Course is Not a Nationally Accredited Course.

- Online Learning & Assessment: Student complete learning (knowledge content) and assessment online prior. There is no face-to-face delivery of this particular course.
If you have a medical condition‚ which the trainer should be aware of‚ please notify him/her prior to the commencement of the course. Prior to attending the course‚ you are also required to read the Code of Practice located on our website www.rlssq.com.au under Public Courses.
Participants will require a level of English to be able to give and receive instructions‚ read signage, read manuals and complete reports.
