Due to current industry demands from Schools, we do not have many public Swim Teacher Courses advertised, however if you are seeking a course, please make an enquiry and we can provide course dates and locations.

Would you like a Swim Teacher Course at your location?
Just contact us, we only need about four people to run a course at your pool!

A Rewarding Career

Swim Teaching offers a rewarding and challenging career to over 35,000 Australians, who have the privilege of teaching vital life skills to children and adults alike. No two days are ever the same for Swim Teachers, as they support their students through the different stages of development, from water familiarisation to advanced swimmers.

If you have a passion and energy for helping others, a willingness to demonstrate patience and compassion, and a desire to make a difference, you should consider a career as a Swim Teacher.

Quality Training, Backup & Support

Royal Life Saving provides high quality training that is compliant to training regulator requirements, but also to the aquatic industry Guidelines for Safe Pool Operation (the GSPO). The GSPO SV2, Paragraph 2.2 specify the training and licensing requirements SV 2.8.

Royal Life Saving Queensland offers a ‘we have your back‘ guarantee to all course participants, in that if they have completed a Royal Life Saving course and they have an incident at an aquatic centre, they can call Royal Life Saving for advice, assistance and support.
