DESCRIPTION:04) Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting 👧 🚑 \nFirst Aid E&C\n\n The Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting course provides the participant with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in an education & care setting.\nParticipants may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations‚ including community and workplace settings. This course will provide participants with the ability to recognise basic signs and symptoms of various illnesses and injury and subsequent provision of appropriate treatment or assistance. The course focus includes CPR‚ treatment of common medical conditions and situation recognition and management.\n\nThis course requires practical application of Resuscitation that will require kneeling on the floor and a range of practical scenarios with candidates on the floor. Candidates need to successfully complete the practical components under the award conditions in order to achieve a Statement of Attainment.\n\nThis course offers nationally recognised certification and participants upon successful completed will obtain a Statement of Attainment with the following Units of Competence:\n• HLTAID012 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting\n• HLTAID011 Provide first aid\n• HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support\n• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation\nThe course needs to be renewed every three (3) years with the resuscitation component to be renewed every 12 months.\n\nNote: Royal Life Saving is not a CRICOS provider; we are unable to provide national recognised training to overseas students holding a student visa.\n\nIntroduction:\nThe information provided here will assist you in deciding if the course selected is the right course for you.\n\nIt is assumed that participants are sufficiently physically fit and healthy to undertake this course.
